Broken Bow Stringband is a Bellingham based group which seamlessly blends original songs with traditional bluegrass and hot fiddle tunes. The band is led by singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Mary von Krusenstiern, and backed with a Who's Who of Northwest musical talent: Katie Weed on fiddle, Pete Goodall on mandolin, Kevin Fazio on banjo, and Daddy Treetops on upright bass.

Great Lakes-cultivated singer-songwriter, recording artist Brant Satala has been performing for captivated audiences for 30 years, and has produced 7 full-length albums. While he features his own intriguing originals, he’s also not afraid to pour his heart into special acoustic adaptions of worthy classic cover songs including artists such as John Denver, Duran Duran, to Kodaline.

Does meeting new people as an adult feel challenging? Welcome to Hype the Homies, a fun, live event where 20 people showcase why their single friends are date/friend/snuggle-worthy through creative presentations like videos, songs, and slideshows. There’s no limit to the creativity!

The Pinto Pals, are a country yodeling duo consisting of Bellingham-based Buddy Mac and Minneapolis-based Lucy London. Together they sing sweet country duets and yodel in harmony, as well as perform other lost art forms such as ventriloquism and opera.

POUR IT FORWARD, BENEFITTING RAGFINERY

Beer tastes even better when it supports a good cause! Join us for our monthly Pour It Forward day at the Sunnyland Taproom, where 10% of all daily sales go directly to a local nonprofit or organization.

This month, we’re supporting Ragfinery, a cherished community textile diversion center, thrift shop, and creative space. After a devastating fire, Ragfinery continues to demonstrate resilience, working to maintain their operations and serve our community. All funds raised will go directly toward sustaining baseline operations as Ragfinery charts a path forward. They’re also excited to continue offering creative workshops through the winter season. As part of this event, we’ll also be selling unique, recycled malt bag tote bags made by Lisa Schessler, owner of Bea Hamster Sews at our Sunnyland Taproom. Each bag is $10, with all proceeds going to Ragfinery.

Formerly the frontman of the popular Los Angeles metal band, Schwarzenator, singing ridiculous songs about Arnold’s movies, these days he loves rocking out on his acoustic guitar, singing songs ranging over the past 70 years. Tenderpile’s Smile Aisle is a jazz group out of Bellingham, Washington led by guitarist Ben Meyer. The concept of this project is to play music that is melodic and easy to listen to, while also being subtly complex and technical, in a configuration suited for the most intimate spaces. Focusing on the music of the Pat Metheny Group, Tenderpile's Smile Aisle aims to showcase this selection of instrumental deep cuts as a key ingredient for a perfectly relaxed and social environment.
