Position:  Cellar Person 

Schedule: Full Time Position, Monday-Thursday 6AM-4PM, Occasional Overtime Needed

Reports to: Head Brewer

Education Requirement: No formal education required

Work Experience: Previous brewery experience required, experience operating canning line machinery preferred.

Compensation: $19-23 per hour depending on experience, Medical Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, 6 Paid Holidays, SIMPLE IRA plan, monthly beer benefits, and annual merchandise gift card. Vision, dental, and accident coverage available at employee’s expense, at a group rate. 

Kulshan is seeking a hard working individual to fill a full-time Cellar Person position at our production facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who has experience as a Cellar Person, is passionate about craft beer, a team oriented individual, and accustomed to physical labor. 


The Cellar Person job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily cellaring duties, including transferring beer, monitoring fermentation, dry hopping, CIPing tanks, harvesting yeast, etc., monitoring carbonation levels in fermenters and brite tanks.

  • Packaging beer into kegs.

  • Assisting the Packaging Lead on the canning line on a weekly basis.

  • Prepping and staging work space as needed (moving pallets, organizing, etc.), setting up for events as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation, including printed logs and EKOS entries.

  • Routine cleaning and maintenance of the brewery space and equipment.

  • Participate in sensory and QAQC sessions.

  • Enjoy beer and nerding out about it!
