V Hazy IPA

V Hazy IPA will be on tap and in cans to take home on Friday, November 22nd at 5 pm in the Roosevelt Taproom.

You probably think the "V" in this name stands for very. WRONG. It stands for vaguely, Vaguely Hazy IPA. Here at Kulshan we've taken awhile to come around to this whole hazy IPA thing, but we slowly have, just in our own way. In the case of this beer, we brewed an IPA using the same techniques we use for our other IPAs, but added in a hefty dose of unmalted wheat, flaked oats, and enough dry hops to almost break our scissor lift. The result? A beer that boasts a wonderful smooth mouthfeel and giant notes of orange, mango, mixed berries, and grapefruit. Vaguely hazy and very delicious, you're going to enjoy this one.

7.5% ABV // 60 IBU

SEE: Vaguely hazy golden straw with a fine white head.

SMELL: Orange, mango, and mixed berries.

TASTE: Orange, tangerine, mango, grapefruit and mixed berries.

BITTER: 2 (out of 5).

SWEET: 2 (out of 5).

HOPS: Zeus, Citra, Azacca, Idaho 7, and Mosaic.

MALTS: 2-Row, Wheat, and Flaked Oats.
