Baltic Porter from Kulshan Brewing Co.

German-Style Baltic Porter is now on tap at Sunnyland.

Fermented with our house lager yeast, Baltic Porter embodies both the rich maltiness of British porters and the delicate complexity of German lagers. Robust, full-bodied and slightly sweet, this beer boasts notes of dark chocolate, caramelized sugar, coffee, and dark stone fruit. Roasty but not burnt, sweet but not cloying, Baltic Porter is a delicious winter treat.

8% ABV // 36 IBU

SEE: Deep garnet, with a tan head.

SMELL: Coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, burnt sugar, and molasses.

TASTE: Toffee, roasted coffee, chocolate, vanilla, dark stone fruits and undertones of burnt toast.

BITTER: 1 (out of 5).

SWEET: 3 (out of 5).

HOPS: Magnum, and East Kent Goldings.

MALTS: Munich, Pilsner, Caramunich, Carafa Special, Pale Chocolate, and Chocolate Wheat.
