Rose Gerber

Rose Gerber grew up in New England where she cut her musical teeth in the folk circuit. She moved to Oregon in 2008, quickly diving into the music scene in Portland. She has been performing around the northwest since as a solo artist and now with her other projects, Rose Gerber & Sweet Relief and Yellow Birds, both in the Americana sound she’s known to inhabit.
Some might hear hints of Natalie Merchant, Gillian Welsh, or Patty Griffin in her voice and songwriting. Both have also been described as poignant, haunting, and soulful. Her songs bare it all and hit home, giving the listener a dose of catharsis.
