Blackberry Apero from Kulshan Brewing

Blackberry Apero is now on tap at Sunnyland.

The fourth installment in our Apero series is moving off the Small Batch board and will be given some wings to fly. This unusual beer is thirst-quenching and delightfully refreshing. Blackberry notes are apparent upfront and finishes extremely dry and clean.

This rotating fruited brut beer series is not only incredibly crushable and refreshing, but it’s also a whole lot of fun. Just what do we mean by "fruited brut beer?" Well as for the fruit, we are constantly rotating what we choose to use with each batch, from berries to American orchard fruits to tropical fruits, there is a whole array of options that can create a bright and delicious beer. As for the brut part, what we are referencing is the incredibly dry and effervescent nature of this beer. We ferment this beer with an enzyme that helps the yeast eat up every last scrap of sugar that is available, resulting not only in a clean and dry beer but also in one that clocks in at just over 150 calories per 16 ounces. Dry and fruity, yet still a beer at its core, this beer is a staff favorite and refreshing to the max.
