Embrace the Dad Bod
Our beloved Dad Bod Hazy Pale Ale is back! A brew that not only pairs perfectly with a rip in the woods, but also helps support a great organization. Our Dad Bod Hazy Pale Ale has been crafted in collaboration with the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition, with $1 from every pint sold going directly to support their groundbreaking and trailbuilding community work to make Galbraith Mountain what it is. Named after the Dad Bod trail at Galbraith Mountain here in Bellingham, this beer is the perfect companion for summer adventures. Whether you're hitting the trails or relaxing after a ride, this crushable hazy pale ale is bursting with juicy tropical fruit notes and zesty citrus accents, making it a refreshing choice for any occasion.
Our involvement with the local mountain biking community and the beautiful trails of Galbraith Mountain is at the heart of this beer. The Dad Bod trail is a favorite among mountain bikers and has been adopted by Kulshan Brewing, and we're proud to contribute to its maintenance and improvement through our partnership with the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition. The Dad Bod trail at Galbraith Mountain is a relatively new addition. This black trail offers a mix of flowing sections and technical features, making it an exciting ride for a range of skill levels. With its well-maintained paths and beautiful scenery, it's the perfect trail to challenge yourself while soaking in some great nature.
We are big bikers at Kulshan brewing. Most of our staff have a passion for bike commuting and sport so we asked some of our team members to share their favorite trails at Galbraith Mountain, and here's what they had to say:
Andy:
"My favorite trail right now is Bob's. It's where I took my first fall, but it's a great trail to learn on."
Charlie:
"Bob's! From quick lunchtime laps to party shreds with friends, Bob's is the ultimate north side trail on Galby. Something for every ability."
Vincent:
"I love Air Chair, it has the perfect mix of rooty tech bits, steeps, and jumps. Plus that rock drop is spicccyyyyy."
Sunny:
"I third Bob's! But want to give my shout-out to Oly. It's a fun, fast, and flowy romp through the forest. I always have a smile on my face when dropping in after riding Kaiser (also a great trail)."
We will be donating $1 per pint of Dad Bod sold to the WMBC while supplies last
