Mountain Lion IPA

Kulshan Brewing and Aslan Brewing Co. are raising money in support of Black Lives Matter by donating proceeds of the sales from our collaboration brew, Mountain Lion IPA. With the release of Mountain Lion, we aim to support the advocacy and direct action work being done by the Black Lives Matter Seattle-King County chapter. 

Both breweries acknowledge this is a first step in a long journey of listening, self-reflecting and creating action plans targeted at dismantling racism in our community, our industry and our country. 

To our Black community – We hear you. We see you. We promise to educate ourselves and do better. 

Mountain Lion is the second release in our collaboration with our neighbors and friends Aslan Brewing Co. This IPA is crisp, zesty and refreshing.  A big dose of Citra hops imparts vibrant grapefruit notes, while notes of lime, strawberry and coconut can be credited to additions of Sabro and HBC 692 hops. Fermented at a cooler temperature than normal to create light and crisp malt notes, and then heavily dry hopped, this beer is packed with bright flavors and is absolutely delicious.

5.5% ABV // 40 IBU

SEE: Hazy golden straw with a fine white head.

SMELL: Grapefruit, lime zest, strawberry, and coconut.

TASTE: Crisp light malt, grapefruit, mango, lime, with slight earthy / wood notes.

BITTER: 2 (out of 5).

SWEET: 1 (out of 5).

HOPS: Citra, Sabro, HBC 692.

MALTS: 2-Row, Pilsner, Toasted Rice, Wheat Malt.
