Trackside battle of the bands
A multi-week competition featuring original music from Whatcom & Skagit County bands.
HOW IT WORKS
Off the Rails is a multi-round live music competition at Trackside Beer Garden featuring local bands performing original music.
Bands are selected to perform in opening rounds, with winners advancing each week.
As the competition progresses, payouts increase, culminating in a final round and grand prize.
During the competition, performances are judged by the crowd.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE & PAYOUTS
ROUND ONE
Bands will be scheduled for one of the following dates:
Thursday, July 2nd
Thursday, July 9th
Thursday, July 16th
Thursday, July 23rd
Per Night:
$500 - Winner
$300 - Runner Up
ROUND TWO (SEMI-FINALS)
Winning bands from round one will be scheduled for one of the following dates:
Thursday, July 30th
Thursday, August 6th
Per Night:
$600 - Winner
$400 - Runner Up
FINAL ROUND
Winning bands from Semi-Finals will play on:
Thursday, August 13th
$1,500 - Winning Band
+ Grand Prize Package
$500 - Runner Up
How to apply
Applications close on Friday, May 1st.
Applications will be reviewed by a panel including Nico Sanchez, Devin Champlin, Mark Hunter, Lupe Flores, and Lindsey Johnstone.
8 bands will be selected to compete.
The full lineup and bracket will be announced Monday, May 11th.
Eligibility
Must be based in Whatcom or Skagit County
Must perform original music
Must be available for all competition dates
(Bands will be scheduled for one Round 1 date to start)

Unique sets encouraged (repeat songs are allowed)
Competition is crowd-voted
